 This is how Nuno Bergonse defines the gastronomical concept of his latest restaurant, situated in one of the most emblematic areas in town, the Pink Street in Cais do Sodré, the stage and center of Lisbon´s nightlife.


Duplex – Restaurant & Bar is the ideal place to enjoy a unique gastronomical experience, in an elegant and cosmopolitan atmosphere. For the more curious, dining at the “Chef´s Tables” allows customers to enjoy an exclusive meal in the kitchen. Booking in advance is advised.


The bar is on the ground floor and offers a classic cocktail menu, the Heineken Star Serve and lots of fun and music.

Chef Nuno Bergonse

He began studying at the Lisbon Hotel and Tourism School, specializing in Cooking and Baking Techniques.


Before opening his first restaurant in Lisbon, Pedro e o Lobo, he worked at some of the most well renowned and emblematic restaurants in Portugal and Europe. Vírgula, Ritz Hotel Four Seasons and Eleven (1 Michelin Star) in Lisbon, the famous Roca Moo in Barcelona (1 Michelin Star) and Caravela in the UK, are just a few on the young chef´s resumé.


In 2012, he was invited to reformulate Ministerium Cantina´s menu and sign Ministerium Eventos´ catering service, where he has remained as Executive Chef.


His following project was Marisqueira Azul, a seafood restaurant at Mercado da Ribeira, which also counts with the collaboration of Manuel Aguiar.


In January 2016, he inaugurated two new restaurants: Duplex – Restaurante & Bar and the La Puttana pizzeria, both in Cais do Sodré. Besides managing four restaurants, Chef Nuno Bergonse still finds time to spend with his family.

Monday to Thursday from 8pm to 11pm.

Friday and Saturday from 8pm to 12am.


Bar Opening hours

Monday to Thursday from 7pm to 1am.

Friday and Saturday from 7pm to 3am.
